DIS Appliance Co. personnel have many years of experience in aircraft avionics and both commercial and military simulation.

Through the simulation experience, we have a great deal of experience with Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) which is the protocol in which simulators communicate with one another.  This lead to a joint-venture with another company on a new product for the simulation market.  We found that we needed a "tool" that would allow us to test our software in a stand-alone setting BEFORE testing with the software being written by the other company... thus, the DIS Protocol Analyzer was born!

Initially, the DIS Protocol Analyzer only provided real-time information on the entities.  Through our experience in working with DIS interfaces, features of things that we knew would help in quickly diagnosing problems were added which made the DIS Protocol Analyzer an indispensable tool in the troubleshooting of DIS issues.
